8. Bijli Mahadeb Temple

Bijli Mahadeb temple is situated at an altitude of 2460 meter in the Kullu Valley and this temple can be reached by trekking which is nearly 3 km.There is a small village down the temple and the name of the temple is also Bijli Mahadeb. The villagers take care of this temple and maintain the construction of this temple. It is believed that the shiva linga of this temple needs  to be restored by butter and satto by the priests of the temple. It has to be restored because after every lightning the shiva linga shatters down after the flash of lightning.

9. Gayatri Temple

Gayatri Temple is one of such beautiful temples located 7km away from Manali and wonderfully designed with wooden carvings dedicated to Goddess Gayatri. The temple was built in the year 1962 by Chidambaram Dixit with the support of the devotees. The inspiration of building this temple is the blessings of Goddess Gayatri and the temple is also known as Jagat Sukh.
